STRENGTHENING REPRESENTATION IN THE FILM AND MEDIA INDUSTRY

STRENGTHENING REPRESENTATION IN THE FILM AND MEDIA INDUSTRY

WELCOME TO WIFT

Here you can read a little about when WIFT came to Denmark, our vision and the working groups that are active today. The board and the associated members of the board participate in the various work groups.

WIFT Denmark was established on 8th May 1999 by a small group of women from the Danish film and TV industry. Since then, it has experienced steady growth and now has over 500 members across the country, including both individuals and companies. WIFT Denmark is based in Copenhagen.

WIFT Denmark’s goal is structural change and equal representation in the Danish film and media industry. Through dialogue, information, knowledge sharing and debate, WIFT Denmark works towards addressing gender-based disparities in pay and working conditions, ensuring safe working environments, and creating a media landscape with more female and intersectional creators, employees, role models, experts, themes, and perspectives.

Read WIFTs Statutes and our Terms and Conditions.
